
The Dying Chambers

Built specifically for the deathmatch experience, this is a simple and harsh structure designed for death.  If you've got the bots bumped up to masterful or better, expect to be fragged mercilessly and often (depending on your own skill, of course!).  I was going for a feeling of relentless tension in an atmosphere of tight spaces.  My greatest influence in designing this level is Quake's "The Bad Place."  Other influences are UT's "Agony," "Malevolence" and "Meldrak][."  If you haven't played any of these, I highly recommend you go play them and get educated as to what deathmatch is all about.

DESCRIPTION:			A small to medium-sized Deathmatch map made for 2-6 players.  There are
				10 player starts, but when you get that many people in there it's quite
				hectic!

Known Problems:

There are about 4 minor BSP errors in the level.  They probably will not be noticed during regular gameplay.  But if you walk around by yourself looking for them, you'll see them in the corner of the screen.

Also, I've noticed that the center chamber will drop your frame rate if there are a lot of bots hanging around. Zoning off the rooms helped a bit.  But if you stick with the recommended bot settings, it should be ok. Let me know if it's real bad.
